AMUSEMENTS
A circus picture entitled “The Puppet Man” is being screened at the Octagon Theatre, and is meeting with very liberal patronage. An Australian romance, is shown in addition.
At the Queen’s Theatre “The Cup of Life” has been well received. There is an abundance of supporting pictures. “The Kid,” a Charlie Chappn masterpiece, has had a very successful existence at Everybody’s Theatre, and is soon to be withdrawn in favour of further attractions. “The Forbidden Thing” is' also being shown, together with other interesting pictures. At the King Edward Theatre patrons are being afforded an opportunity of witnessing “Tho Forbidden Thing,” and the programme is strengthened by the inclusion'of “The Cup of Life,” and other supporting pictures, “The Hunch”, and “Yau Can’t Kill Love” will be shown at the Grand Theatre to-day, and will be supported by a Century comedy and an episode of tho 'Terror Trail” serial. At tho Plaza Theatre a new programme will be shown to-day. Tho principal films are “Tho Hunch” and “You Can’t Kill Love.” At the Empire Theatre just now there are being screened “Tho Little Minister” .and “The Furnace.” There are also shown a comedy, a travelogue, and other pictures.
