CYCLONIC STORM
EXPERIENCE AT WARKWORTH. (Per United Press Association ) WELLINGTON, March 27. The postmaster ai Warkworth has telegraphed to the chief postmaster at Wellington as follows:—‘‘A cyclonic storm struck this district at 6 o’clock last evening.' 1 , Mr Osborne’s house at Wayby (10 miles ’from’ Warkworth) was demolished, and Mr Martin’s house at Warkworth -wag also destroyed, and some of the inmates severely injured. Mr Wilson’s house at Springlands was struck by lightning, and considerable damage was done to orchards, fences, etc. Numerous telephone and telegraph, wives are down.’’
