FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, March 24. The Royal Commission on Oxford and Cambridge Universities, which was appointed in 1919 to consider applications by the universities for financial assistance, has issued a report recommending that each university should receive, instead of the existing interim grant of £30,000, an annual grant of £IOO,OOO, with an additional £IO,OOO for special purposes, embracing women’s education and extramural work, also a lump sum for pension arrears.—A. and N.Z.
