EYES IN PHOTOGRAPH
NOT CONTEMPT OF COURT. LONDON, March 13. The rule nisi granted against the Daily Express on February 3, calling on it to show cause why it should not be adjudged guilty of contempt of court for publishing a photograph of the Welsh solicitor, Armstrong, who is accused of murdering his wife and attempting to poison a'fellowsolicitor, has been the Court holding that no harm was done to the accused’s interests. The photograph showed the eyes inset, and counsel had argued that an attempt was made to indicate that the eyes were those of ‘a broken man or a lunatic.”
