ALLEGED MALICIOUS PROSECUTION.
CASE SETTLED OUT OF COURT. (Pk* United Paws Association.) GISBORNE. March 22. When the case Paterson versus ihe National Piano Company, of Auckland, a claim for £3OOO damages for alleged malicious prosecution, was called this morning Mr Myers stated that a settlement had been reached. The defendant company agreed to the payment of a certain sum, which was considered satisfactory to both parties. The jury was accordingly discharged.
