FOOT-AND-MOUTH DISEASE
SERIOUS OUTBREAK IN ENGLAND. OYER 100 CASES REPORTED, Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 30. ' (Received Jan. 31, at 5.5 p.m.) There is now occurring one of the most widespread visitations of foot and mouth disease that has been experienced for many years. Over 100 cases have been reported from various counties, including Cumberland, Durham, Lincolnshire, Northumberland, Yorkshire, and Cheshire. The Ministry of Agriculture has stopped the movement of cattle in 11 counties.— A. and N.Z. Cable.
