ROYAL MARRIAGE
PRINCESS MARY’S RING. PURE WELSH GOLD. . LONDON, January 17.- ’ The Daily News states that Viscount Lascelles’ best man will most likely be his younger brother. Captain the Honourable -Edward Cecil. The wedding ring is Bow being manufactured by the Court jewellers. It is of pure Welsh gold washed from the river Wawddaoh, and presented to Viscount Lascollos by a.former member of the House of Commons, Mr William Pritchard Morgan, who discovered gold at Dolgelly (Wales). He also presented tho gold from which the Queen’s ring was manufactured. Mr William Pritchard Morgan is a solicitor, and though he is not an Australian he is well known in (Queensland, where he practised for some time. Ho returned to -England in 1885, and became interested in gola-mining property in Wales. He also has gold-mining interests in China, He was member for Merthyr Tydyil in the House of Commons from 1888 to 1800.
