Messrs Dalgoty and Co, report having received the following cable from their head office, dated London, January 27, 1922; — Butter: Fairly steady, good demand, but not so much feeling of confidence. Danish, £9 6s to £9 Ufa; Australian unsaltcd, finest, £6 15« to £7; salted, £6 8a to £6 12s; secondary, £5 16s to £6 6s; inferior, £4 10s to £5 8s; Now Zealand, finest, £7 to £7 16s; secondary, £6 15s to £6 18a. Cheese: Firm. New Zealand colour, £4 14s to £4 16s; New Zealand white, £4 10s to £4 12s; Australian colour, £4 6s to £1 8s; white, £4 4a to £4 6s. Lamb, higher by Jd to Id. MEAT AND TALLOW.
