WASHINGTON, January 28, (Received Jan. 29, at 5.5 p.m.) The Agricultural Conference passed a resolution favouring America’s, participation if a conference for the economic and financial reconstruction of Europe is accepted as referring to the Genoa Confer ence. While the conservative element at the Agricultural Conference lias prevented the endorsement at any price of the stabilisation scheme, the Farmers’ Union representatives, it is understood, have received assurances from the State agricultural bloc that a special committee will be appointed to investigate the Australasian plan of price guarantees. The committee may visit Australasia to study the system. > The conference endorsed the limitation of the farm crop acreage until the present agricultural conditions in the United States and Europe have been relieved.— A, and N.Z.
