THE NEXT AGREEMENT. (Peb United Pkess Association.) WELLINGTON, January 27. In connection with the waterside workers’ expiring agreement, the shipping companies have cited the unions under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act. The Arbitration Court will therefore decide the terms of the next agreement. It is understood that the employers suggest that wages shall be bn the same scale as those of general labourers. Waterside workers are now receiving 2g 4d per hour, and general labourers Is 10-jd.
