(Received Jan. 26, at 7.25 p.m.) A telegram from Milan reports a shocking saomege at the Cathedral The dome was broken into and several tombs, including those of St. Ambrose, St. Gervais, St, Protais, were despoiled of the jewels buried with the corpses, which were stripped of their coverings and the bones left scattered. —A. and N.Z.
