' ■. • , While an employee of the farm. named Watson waa absent' Owen t attacked his wife with- a in a serious condition. ' He then shot himself. When the. employee returned an hour later, Owen- waa^, quite dead, and his wife was semi-conscious. Owen left & letter stating his intentions, and ' also ' saying that he was mad. The coiiple had been’married about a year. Both were- members of well-known, and respected families. . , /
