LONDON, July 27. Reports of the Mount Everest expedition show that steady progress is being made despite great difficulties in regard to rough country and transport amidst wonderful scenery. The travellers paid interesting visits to Tibetan monasteries. Tho surveyors mapped out 25,000 square miles of country which was hitherto unsur veyed.—Times.
