MEAT FREIGHTS.
PROSPECTS BRIGHTER. (Pm United Fnu Association.) WELLINGTON. March 18. Mr Massey, in the House this afternoon, stated that he was pleased to announce that there was now a bright prospect of a considerable reduction in shipping freights being obtained. He could not go into details, but ho know the indications were promising. If tho shipping companies did not help producers to get their produce Home, then ho could only say they wore gravely endangering their own interests.
