AMUSEMENTS
At the Queen’s and King Edward Theatres the “star” film is “The Idol Dancer,” a pictorial adaptation of G. R. Young’s exciting story. It is full of adventure and thrills, and as the photographic work has been done under convincing conditions as regards scenery, the result is very satisfactory. The part of the heroine in enacted by Olarine Seymour, and she is thoroughly suited to the part, A strong list of .supports has been secured The feature at the Mosgiel -Pictures tonight will be a Universal special attraction of a very entertaining nature. It is entitled “The Girl in the Bain,” and features Annie Cornwall. The story, which concerns the adventures of a young lady and the police and some crooks, is a thrilling one. The supporting programme will be an exceptionally fine one, including the latest Century comedy, “ Laughing Gas,” and a Universal Screen Magazine.
