THE GREAT M'EWEN

This evening at His Majesty’s Theatre th© Great M‘Ewen will make his initial appearance, and considerable interest is being manifested in the visit of this distinguished mesmerist, magician,. and entertainer. To-night’s programme will consist of conjuring, sleight-oif-hand, card manipulating, elaborate illusions, and demonstrations of mesmerism, auto-suggestion, mental telepathy, thought transference, and occult science. It is claimed for the Great MTSwen that throughout the whole evening there is never a dull moment, and while there are many mesmeric experiments of a serious nature, laughter predominates, and the patron who is dissatisfied with the evening’s entertainment will indeed be hard to please. The Great M'Ewen has appeared on many occasions by Royal command at Buckingham Palace and too King’s country seat, Sandringham, and he is the possessor of many valuable gifts from Royalty which he treasures. Th© present King has always taken a very keen interest in Mr M'Ewcn’s demonstrations of mesmerism and mental telepathy. The management announces that the programmes will be subject to alteration each evening, and at the request of prominent citizens special experiments and demonstrations will be conducted, which are rarely attempted in public, and patrons will be. treated to an unique entertainment as unusual as it is diversified. The box plans_ for the season are now on view at the Bristol till 5 each evening, after which they will be at the Geyser.
