Business was fairly normal on the Stock Exchange yesterday, buyers and sellers quoting in many lines, but generally fa3-' mg to meet, even when the margin was small. Bank of New Zealand’s business was effected at 48s 6d, three parcels changing hands. The closing quotations were 48s 3d and 48s 9d. buyer and- seller respectively. A parcel of National Insurance was quitted at 625, with further offers at 635, but buyers failing to rise above 61s. Paper Mills were sold for 28s 3d, and a further buyer was offering 28s, but there was no response.
