PARLIAMENTARY TOUR PROJECTED,

ELABORATE PUBLICITY' ARRANGEMENTS. .

At a meeting of the East Coast Railway League, with representatives present from, the whole of the surrounding districts, it v/as stated that 20 members of Parliament fiad signified their intention to be present on a parliamentary tour of the East Coast. It was reported that provision had - been made for 10 journalists to accompany the tourists, and the. city and provincial journals are to be asked to send representatives. A kinematograph operator will film the whole tour, and an official photographer will accompany the party. A revised itinerary Jias now been arranged by which the tour will commence at Rotorua on February 12, and will conclude at Napier on February 25. The places to be visited include Rotorua, Bay of Plenty. Poverty Bay, the East Coast, Taupo, and Waikaxemoana.
