No sales were recorded on ’Change on Saturday morning, and the call-over was quickly completed. There was an inquiry for mining stocks, offers being received for Rising Suns and Shines, Waihi Grand Junctions, and Mount Lyeffs, but no business resulted. • A • number of investment stocks were also inquired for, but possible sellers were not to be tempted by the prices offered, and, on the other hand, possible buyers were not prepared‘to pay the prices asked.
