HOSPITAL RADIUM AND X-RAY FUND.

£3000 REQUIRED.

OVER £1100 ESf HAND,

The canvass undertaken by the committee for the above object is meeting- with a highly satisfactory response. It is hoped that a sum of £3000 may be raised by publio subscription which, with tho Government subsidy, will provide tho radium equipment and X-ray apparatus and various electrical accessories ■ necessary for efficient work. The folio-wing donations arid promises are gratefully acknowledged by Dr L. E. Barhett, Stafford street Dunediii, chairman and treasnrer, who will bo glad to receive further donations or they may be sent to the office of the Otago Daily Times:—
