NORTH DUNEDIN ANNIVERSARY.

The North. Dunedin Corps of the Salvation Army held its twenty-sixth anniversary services last Sanday. Major and Mrs Gunn, divisional commanders, were presept and conducted all meetings. The spcciai addresses, company songs, and Boka throughout the day brought much encouragement.

On Wednesday a. selected programme waa rendered by friends and soldiers of the city and suburban coTps. Every item -was well received, several receiving encores. Items were rendered by the following:— Vocal solos: Captain Stevens ("House of Many Mansions"), Mts Atwell (" Swarieo River"), Miss E. Pellowe ("Hold Thou My Hand'"), Miss South and Mrs Envoy Sider ("All Things Work Together'for Good"); solos: Mr Bea>dlo (saxiphoae); duets: Mesdames Reekie and Aitcheson. ("A Beautiful Land"), Captain Cannichael and Lieutenant Hudson, Recitations were given l>y Gaptain Brace gird to ("Home, Sweet Home") and Miss E. Fergtison, while the South Dunedin Corps was responsible for a dialogue, " Tho Lost Bank Note." During tho meeting- several congratulatory messages were read by Secretary Peart. Ensign Podmore thanked all thoss who had helped to make tho anniversary the success it had proved to be. The meeting terminated with refreshments being passed round.
