Further than that the picture oonveys its moral with a simplicity that is strikingly effective, 'lhe dangers arising from, those evil courses are clearly pourtrayed, and itn tho delicate handling of a number of tho moro difficult soencs tho producer has done exceedingly well. Tile international drama, "The CaiU-iux Case" of France, will appear at tho Plaza Theatre on Friday and the following days. This picture tells, in a startling manner, of tha ambition of a man and woman, who stopped at nothing—even murder, treason, and Hun gold—to accomplish their selfish ends. The characters are persons whose names have frequently appeared in the daily newspapers and the events pictured actually took place in France and America. A sensation was caused a few years ago when Mme. Caillaux, the beautiful wife of the French Minister of Finance, entered the office of Gaston O&lmette. editor of Le Figaro, and shot him for accusing her husband of dishonest acts, and the picture shows bow, amid riotious scenes, she was acquitted of the crime. It shows how, through evidence furnished by the Unit™ States Government, M. Caillaux, once Premier of France, had been imprisoned for the association with 8010 Pasha, who was recently executed for aiding Germany. William Fox has produced the play with an all-star cast of players, chosen not only for their acting ability but for their striking physical resemblance to the original char actors. Good supporting pictures will also be shown. The plan is at the Plaza, where seats may be booked.
