REVIEW OF CAMPAIGN. OPERATIONS IN SEVERAL QUARTERS. m . ' LONDON, June 19. (Received June 20, at 11.10 p.m.) The Australian Press Association learns that the Rumanian left, assisted by the Poles, has taken an offensive against the Bolshevists in Galicia. . The Bolshevists have retired 50 miles m _ Northern Russia, and satisfactory British advance continues -without the slightest loss. Our motor flotilla is contesting command of Lake Onega, aided bv aeroplanes. The Bolshevists are evacuating Dvinsk. The Esthonians and Germans have concluded an armistice, through the mediation of British, French, and American representatives; but the Germans continue a propaganda in Esthonia. The situation in Ukrainia is chaotic There are seven distinct risings against the Bolshevists. General Deniken has reached the Volga and is advancing in Astrakhan. His success should give General Koltchak's army time to reorganise.—A. and NZ - Cable.
