CIVIL SERVICE OLUB. The Civil Service Harriers ran from Caversham School on Saturday. There was a largo, attendance of members. Paper was dispensed with, and tho pack, under the charge of the captain (H. Mong), followed the road to Sidey's, tlience across country past the golf links and along the road overlooking Green Island beach, which was followed to Green Island, the' run home being via Main South road. At the conclusion of the run the members adjourned to the residence of Mrs Beatson, where they did justice to the refreshments provided by the committee. An enjoyable musical evening brought tho outing to a close. CAVERSHAM CLUB. ' The Caversham Club held a mile maiden irace a± For bury Park. Only a few faced the starter (Mr J. Will), tho result being as follows:—R. Joyce, 30sec, 1; J. Denford 30scc, 2; N. Armstrong, 25sec, 3. ' PACIFIC OLUB. The eight members who were responsible for the Pacific Club's 'run from the Commercial Hotel, Green Island, are to be congratulated on the splendid entertainment they provided for their fellow members. The trail, which was laid by Swanson and Ferguson, led along the road and across country until the Silverstream race was .over which the pack, under tho leadership of tho deputy-captain, ran for about two miles. The trail then skirted tho hills overlooking Wingatui, and thence over the Chain Hills towards Fairfield. The pack then turned for home via Abbotsford, and_ a fast run home was made from the station to the hotel, where a good entertainment was provided. THE ANGLICAN CLUB.

The Anglican Harriers ran on Saturday from tho North-East Valley School. The trail led along the Main North road to tho car terminus, and then followed the Lower Main road to tho top of the Junction Hill thence breaking across country to tho summit of Signal Hill, and down the face of the hill and into the valloy again. The run homo for the points competition was commenced about three-quarters of a mile from the school, and resulted as follows:—Steel 1, Walker 2. The members of the club were afterwards entertained at tho Savoy as guests of Mrs CJhapman-Smith. ST. KELDA CLUB. Tho St. Kilda Harriers ran from Macandrew's Bay. The trail led along tho District road till the high road was reached. The pack then took the Portobello road towards Hooper's Inlet, and, after skirting the inlet for some distance, took tho Hooper's Inlet road to Portobello, from where a fast run home -was made to the Portobello wharf.
