ST. CLAIR SURF-BATHING CLUB.
At this week's meeting of tfce committee of the St. C9air Life-saving and Surf-bath-ing Club arrangements were made for holding the opening of tho season on Saturday Owing to tho generally unsettled conditions prevailing at present it was decided to limit tho function to tho formal opening followed by a splash in the surf and a lifesaving display. Later in the season, when times become normal, a sports' day will be held on the beach. Eighteen new membora wore elected.
