LONDON, November .26. (Received Nov. 27, at 10.30 p.m.) The damage done by the Silvertown explosion was £1,750,000. —A. and N.Z. Cable. MELBOURNE, November 27. The prices fixing administration during the war cost' the Government £50,000, and yielded a profit of £250,000. (Received Nov. 27, at '8.45 p.m.) Mr Webster promised to consider the establishment of an aerial postal service but he sees no likelihood of applying a practicable scheme to Australia.
Mr Watt is approaching the Imperial authorities to ascertain the possibility of a portion of the British fleet visiting Australia.—Press Association.
