WAR DECORATIONS
PRESENTED BY LORD LIVERPOOL,
(Peb United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURGH, September 21. A big ceremonial parade of Territorials andi Cadets was hold at King Edward Barracks this afternoon, when Lord Liverpool presented war decorations as follow:—Military Cross —Major C. _V. Leeming, Chrisfcchurch, " for distinguished service in the field"; Military Cross, Mrs W. J. Glanvillo, Pareora, mother of Lieutenant R. B. Glanville, Australian Light Infantry, "in recognition of gallantry and devotion to duty in the field: D.C.M.—Mr George F vrper, Christchurch, father of the late Lieutenant Gordon Harper, " for distinguished service ,in tho field" ; Military Medal —Mrs E. Fairbrother, Timaru, mother of tho late Private R. E. Fairbrother, " for an act of gallantry in the field"; Military Medal—Mr J. Osborne, 12 Winters road, Allenion, Ashburton, father of the late S. K. Osborne, " for an act of gallantry in the field "; Belgian Groix Do Guerre—Sergeant P. L. Grant, Cameron street, Ashburton, award by King cf Belgians " for distinguished services rendered during tho course of the campaign.
