RAILWAY DISPUTE

The railway dispute has been settled as the result of a conference between the vailwaymen and the War Cabinet. The agreement provides for a weekly increase of 5s to male and female adults, and 2s 6d to those under 18 years of age. The increase is retrospective from August 5.
