A generous contribution is expected from Otago to assist the thousands of orphan children and Etinorers. It was decided that the ladies should collect from 3 a. in. until 6 p.m. Flowers and badges v.iii be sold The badges should meet with a ready sale, as a limited quantity _ .issorted designs has" been received from Paris. Two liuriea at the meeting purchased a complete set each, thus adding 30s to the tund. The following stands were allocated:—Stafford street corner, Misa Dull"; Empire Buildings, Otago Women's ■Club; Ola Post Office, Navy League; Jacob's corner, Karitane-Harris Hospital; Stock Exchange, St. John Ambulance; Grand Hotel corner, Overseas Club; Bank of Now Zealand. Kcd Cross Society; Government Life Insurance corner, Mrs Jackson ; Stalk's corner, Y.W.C. A.; City Hotel coiner. First Church; Hallenstein':; corner, Mrs 11. K. Wilkinson and Women's Auxiliary of Y.M.C.A.; Strand corner, Madame •iquarise; Octagon, Miss K. Geerin (Otago Women's Patriotic Association); Sprosen'a t on-.er. Salvation Army; Penrose's and City Boot Palace, All Saints' Church; Mollisons'- corner, Knox Church. The following have agreed to look after (ho collection in the following districts: — Mornington, Miss K. Geerin; North-East Valley, Mrs P. J. Blackmail; St. Clair, Mrs T. Chalmer.
