WINGATUI NOTES. After the sun dispersed evidence of a mild frost at Wingatui yesterday morning the day became quite mild pleasant. The course proper, with trestles wide out, was available for gallops, and also the inside grass. Mohawk commenced by drawing away from Royal Star at the end of five furlongs in 1.8 4-5, finishing welL Ardenvhor, with the assistance of Sleepy, head and Miss Latour, galloped 10 furloncs in 2.29 3-5. the last seven in 1.42. and pulled up sound. Don Pacifico and Rorke'a Drift broke away from the mile post, and the former led the way until coming up the running, when Rorke's Drift closed up, and they finished together in 1.5 4-5. Night Alarm and Thaddeus strode along at about half pace. Black Mountain and Moneymaker covered seven furlongs in 1.40 1-5. Both Glenshine and Burrangong finished up well when completing six furlongs in company in 1.23 3-5. Captain French was schooled over the fences, and dwelt e good deal at his jumps. Achilles and Poloniua ran over five furlongs in a shade under 1.11. Kilmeedy, Tin Soldier, and Placid travelled six furlongs _in 1.24. Kilbrogan worked a mile oh the inside grass.
