(Fbom Ode Own Corhespondmtj KAITANGATA, May 27. In presenting tne prizes won during tho season, Mr A. S. Giilanders (president of tlib Kaitangata Tennis Club) stated that tho progress made by i<. M'Auley, tho winner of the gentlemen's singles, was simply marvellous. Tho young man had commenced playing tennis only during the seasou, and liad met some very good players in tiie competition. A juvenile Ockliellows' Lodge was opened at Kaitangata 011 Thursday evening. 'J.hi; district executive ollicers—Bros. W. Sullivan, P.G.M., W. W. Fleming, P.D.G.M., A. Sligo, P.P.G.M., J. A. Hopcraft. P. Cor. Sec., and J. H. l'\ Hamcl, P. Treasurer, accompanied by P.G. Bro. P. Thomson, ot tho Hand and Heart Lodgo (Dunedin) — motored to Kaitangata to bo present at tho official opening, and were agreeably surprised to find 110 fewer than 53 lads awaiting initiation into the order. Tho lads wero sworn in by Provincial Grand Master Tiro. Sullivan, who afterwards installed tho following members of the senior lodge as tho first officers of tho juvenile lodge: — Grand Master, Bro. J. C. Shore; Noblo Grand, Bro. T. Middlpmass (lodge founder); Vieo-grand, Bro. O. S. Pearn; Per. Secretary, Bro. E. P. La.\ory; Troasuror, Bro. E. M'Fadyen; Warden, Bro. O. H. Williams; Guardian, Bro. C. Hislop. The visitors and members of the Pioneer Juvenilo T/Of Igo were afterwards the guesta of tho Kaitipgata Senior Lodge members.
