The court-martial of Captain Mathieu, formerly General Sarrail's orderly officer f at 'Salonika, aiul of Sergeant I'aixseailles, ( 011 ;i charge of divulging eonlidential docu- c ments, is proceeding in camera. The prosecution states that documents handed ! to the Bonnet Rouge contained General ; Sarrail's plane, and information regarding ' the situation of the French airily and the ( number of it« effectives. General Cardonnier, contrary to General San-ail's opinion, 1 believes the delivei'v of documents to ' Almereyda had serious consequences on 1 Frcnch operations in the Far East. (Received May 26. at 5.5 p.m.) 1 A British Salonika official states : Naval 1 .airmen raided the Drama aerodrome on ' the 12th inst., and also raided the aero- ' drome at Hudova on the 24th inst., damaging hangars. On other dates the airmen drove down four enemy machines. OPERATIONS IN PALESTINE. ARABS STILL ACTIVE. LONDON, May 24. (Received May 26, at 5.5 p.m.) A Palestine official states : We raided an enemy post on the right bank of the Jordan, near Ummeshshert. We brought down three aeroplanes in the neighbourhood of Nablus and Latrum. Arabs raided a Turkish post on the Hedjaz vailway at Wadi Jerdun. The Arabs also conducted other successful operations in Southern Hedjaz, in the vicinity of Medina, destroying a section of the track and capturing a convoy of 300 camels, which was attempting to enter Medina.
