About 20 prizes of considerable value have already been claimed. In all, there aro 250 prizes, valued at £1500. The bank depot in George street is a considerable attraction to large numbers. The extent and tho value of the prizes are commented on by everybody. The ready response of the public to the appeal for funds is a recognition of tho excellent work of tho Women's Patriotic Association. The Citizens' Committee has decided to hold a grand street day on Friday, and lady volunteers are urgently needed, as many members of the Otago Women's Patriotic Association are engaged at tho tea-rooms in conjunction with the Winter Show, and are thus unable to assist-. A spccial meeting will 'be held at the depot, corner of George street and Moray place, to-morrow afternoon to enlist ladies for tho bi£ draft sale on Friday.
