ACCIDENTS.
The Hospital authorities reported last night that- Mr Edward Towsey's condition a little better, and that Firemen M Gill and Oliver were doing very well. Beryl Twyford, aged 16 years, residing with her parents at 12 Orbcll street, Dalmoro, was admitted to the Hospital at 9.30 j suffering from burns on her arms and head. It is not known how the girl's clothing became ignited. She was first notiocd on a verandah by a pa>sscr-bye. At an early hour this morning tho sufferer was in a critical condition. % _ A boy named Wilfred M'Dowell. belonging to Qucenstown, was admitted to tho hospital on Thursday afternoon, suffering from a gunshot wound in tho foot (says tho Southland Times). The youth had been out shooting rabbits, and tho gun going °u* I'm! caused the wound, which is not. of a dangerous nature.
