t . «o» 3 f OPPOSITION TO GOVERNMENT j CONTROL. t 3 (Per United Press Association.) s CHRISTCHURCH. May 24. The Provincial Conference of the Farmers' Union to-day passed the following resolution:—"That this conference entirely dissents from the finding of the Frozen Meat Conference held recently in Wellington to the effect that the Government should retain control of the meat export business, being strongly of opinion that when normal conditions return this branch of our business should revert to the pre-war methods."
