The following was the voting at the triennial election to fill vacancies on the General Council of Education:— Certificated male teachers, public sohools, North Island.—Tom U. Wells, 367 votes (elocted); Frank L. Combs, 120. Certificated female teachers, public sohools, North Island. —Miss Phoebe Myers, 437 (elected); Miss Nellie E. Coad, 212. Male teachers, secondary and technical schools. —Frank H. Campbell, 115 (elected); George George, 41. Female teachers, secondary and technical schools.—Miss A. B. A. Butler, 91 (elected); Miss A. M. Bafcham, 52. Education Boards, North Island. —The Hon. D. T. Feming, 27, and William M. Hamilton, 22 (elected); John C. Thomson, M.P., 11; Edward J. Scantlebury, 5.
