SOLDIERS' MEMORIAL CLUB
GARDEN FETE. A meeting of tho Garden l*Y+e Committee was held on Wednesday night. Mr J. H. Walker presided. Tho secretary submitted a statement which showed that the receipts amounted to £1790 19s 3d, and the expenditure to £283, which will leave £1507 to go towards tho Soldiers' Memorial Club building. Tho chairman congratulated the committe® on the excellent manner in which it had carried out its duties.
