Messrs Park, Reynolds (Ltd.) yesterday oflercd at auction 57 sections, being a subdivision of block I.XXIV, Dunedin, and the property of the Otago Harbour Board. Theso sections, which are 6itu•ted on tho reclamation, immediately in front of the Dunedin Railway Station, in a (northeasterly direction, varied in area from 23' poles to 37.12 poles, and in valuation from £15 to £30 rental per annum. The sections were, however, offered at upsets 25 per cent, below those values, and the term was for 14 years, with renewal or full valuation clause. It is noted that some of tha streets of this new block bear names. closely allied to the present war. Some of the names are Bauohop, Jutland. Fryatt, and Sturdee. There wse a small attendance of buyers. The ■whole of the 57 sections were offered, but ojily 18 were disposed of to three purchasers. Section 81, containing 28.32 poles, was sold to Messrs Mi rams Bro6. at £24, the upset Sections 35, 36, 37, 40, and 41 (each vnryinc in area from 26.03 poles to 28.04 poles, went to Mrasra M Lachlan and Wright at £103, tho upset Sections 63 and 64, each containing 21.05 noles •frero eold to Mr A.
