J ' The Brecro arrived about 11 o'clock yesterday forenoon from Wanganui, via Lyttelton, and sailed at night on the return journey. The Te Anan is due at Auckland on Saturday from Bluff. She is expected to sail on Monday from Wellington, and thence for Bluff to load for Napier, Gis borne, and Auckland. The Tarawera will leave Timaru to-day for Auckland, whence she will proceed to Lyttclton to load again for Auckland. .The Rosamond was expected to leave Timaru yesterday and Oamaru to-day for Napier and Gis- ■ borne. She will mako a second trip between Eyttelton' and Hawke's Bay. Bad weather was experienced round the West 'Coast yesterday. There was a south-westerly wind and rain at Greymonth, and a heavy sea mado I-the bar unworkable The steamers Poherua, Ngatoro, Waimea, and Defender wero all outside, ...and the Kokiri and Ngahere were bar-bound in the harbour.
