"SEVEN DAYS' LEAVE."

On Saturday night Messrs Ben. and John Fuller will initiate a season of drama at His Majesty's- Theatre, presenting the distinguished actor, Mr Allan Wilkie, in the much-talked-of "submarine" play, "Seven Days' Leave." Dealing with the accomplishments and plottings of a gang of German spies in England, this play is characterised not only by robust action and fullblooded romance, but also by a noteworthy example of stage realism in the depiction of the destruction of a U bo .it by gunfire fvcm cruisers. The experience of managers who have handled the drama—it has been player! for a record term in every land where English is spoken, and is "still a reigning attraction in London and New York—has been that it makes a- strong appeal to all classes of playgoers. Its plot is sensational, and its climax is daring, and has the virtue of being logical. A vein of com-.'dv, based upon the levelling of caste induced by war conditions, relieves the tension of the big scencs. Mr Wilkie will be supported by v. strong east, including the .gifted young actress, Marie Nov. Bobert Ininan. Herbert Ronald Riley, Walter Hunt, Vivvan Edwards. Adele ]ii-nv-.n. Nellie Ferguson, and Olive Stevens The box plans are now open at the Bristol T9 S I SOS( Jp 'spjoD put: stfSnoo ■ioj £powo.i SuiATts-iouour pin; osn-joj-ipucu OIJJ SB OJOI[M£JOAO UAIOU3J SI fJQZY^I
