Milton Football Club, in conjunction with tho local Rod Cross Society, is ■ii. ranging- a gala, day at Milton on Saturday 111 aid of tho above object. A novelty sports and fancy costume football match will bo held on tho show grounds in tho afternoon, and a very interesting pro(P amino has been drawn up. In the evening, in the Coronation Ilall, tho Commercial lravellers Choir will give an entertainment, and tho visit of that organisation is ueinef looked forward to with great ple.ieure. A pleasing feature of tho effort is tho keenness which tho football lads have shown in their eflort to roach the goal of £100. No doubt the residents of the Tokomairiro district will respond to the call, and give such hearty support tliat will givo pleasure) to all concerned.
