(Received May 20, at 9.25 p.m.) Mr Hoover has announced that the German meat ration has been reduced from ' 225 grammes to 150 grammes for each person weekly, and the wheat ration in Saxony and Wittenburg has been reduced from 250 to 150 grammes per day. This is the result of the American embargo against neutrals. The meat rations in Britain and France are kept up to from 240z to 30ozl, due to supplies sent from America.
