COURSING
The Council of tho National Coursing Association of New Zealand met last evening. Mr B. S. Irwin presided over a full attendance of delegates. Mr 13. O. Price, who was suspended in October, 1916, applied for reinstatement.— Application agreed to. Coursing dates were granted as follows:— Egnvont Open Coursing Club. June 8; Selwyn Open Coursing Club, May 18; Dunedin Plumpton Coursing Club, Slay 18. The programmes as submitted were agreed to. Mr Fraser Smith (Frankton Junction) wrote stating that lie would accept the position of vice-president on tho council. The Secretary of tho National Coursing Association of South Australia wrote stat-incr that his council did not favour tho estal> lishment of an Australasian Union. It; was resolved to ask Mr Martin Taylor, of Auckland, if he would represent New Zealand at the Australasian Conference, to bo held at Sydney the first week of June.
