WELLINGTON, January 17. The Executivo Council has decided that the law sball take its course in 'the caso of Frank Edward Bonnier, who waa sentenced to death at Wanganui on November 28 for tho murder of Jiis wife at Kauangaroa on Septomber 10. Tho execution will take placo on Saturday morning at 8 o'clock
CHRISTCIIUROH, January 17.
Tho infant daughter of Thomas M'Clurg, of Redcliffs, aged one year and nino months, was drowned in the eetuary 'this morning. She wandered away, and presumably fell into the water. TNVERCARGILL, January 17. David Sutherland, corporation employee, committed suicide by cutting his tliroat with a razor. Ho had been worrying over th<> war, his brother having reoeutly been killed. He leaves a widow, but no children.
