PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.
The adjourned meeting of the Peninsula Road Board was held on Saturday, and was attended by Messrs R. Black (chairman), J. Fairbairn, T. Landreth, J. A. Johnston, and A. Weir. The Clerk reported that the work at Hooper's Inlet and Sandymount road was completed. Tno board decided to replace the culvert at Higheliff road with 9in drain pipes* Tho surfaceman was Instructed to clear the slips on Higheliff road when the entrance to Lord's road was completed, to attend t6 the clearing of water tables on Main road to Seal Point, and to complete the metal on Sandymount road. It was decided to obtain a supply of rabbit poison from the Department of Acricultaire. Balclutha. Accounts amounting to £46 lls 3d were passed for payment. .
