OUTBREAK OF TYPHUS. MANY TOWNS AFFECTED. The Times. „ . BERNE, August 14. .Hunger typhus is scourging many parts of Germany. Out of 600 cases there were 54 deaths at Mannheim. The disease is also severely afflicting Cologne, Karlsruhe, and Mulhausen. The authorities diagnose it as dysentery and are ordering night burials in order to quell the panic. ■■ «
