EVERYBODY'S THEATRE.

The train on which ho was to return is wrecked and he is reported killed. At the trial things go against him owing to the' false testimony of Slade, and he decides to make a break for liberty. Ear in tho wilderness he eludes pursuit. In the meantime Muriel reluctantly acquiesces in her mother's coercion andi marries Philip Lewis, a successful lawyer and district attorney Burton returns to New York inst in timo to witness tho meeting between Muriel and Slade, and forces a confession of murder from tho latter. An encounter between tho two men follows, and Slado is unintentionally killed by Muriel. Burton is charged with the murder, and Philip, who as prosecutor, oven though he is awaro of the actual state of affairs, secures his conviction, tho death sontenco, being passed Muriel accuses Philip of being her husband's murderer, and after a battle of conflict the latter secures Burton's pardon. Muriel and Burton aro rn-un'ted. The supports are "Her Cave Man" "A Swedish Model Farm," and a Gaumont scenic.
