And MAKE THE HAIR GROW. By an Eminent Specialist. An eminent physician and specialist, who has for years made a study of scalp and hair troubles, states that practically all hair and scalp trouhle ia primarily due to the dandruff germ, which eats into the hair roots and gradually destroys their vitality, malting the hair grow dry, grey, and life less, until at last it falls out, and total baldness results. To destroy the dandruff germ and restore the glossy softness and natural colour of youth, he advises the regular application of a tonic which can bo put up by any chemist at a small cost, consisting of 3 ouncc6 of .Bay Rum, 1 ounce lyivo: m de Compoaee, and i-drain Menthol Crystals ; apply night and morning, rubbing briskly into the scalp and roots with the finger tips. Do not wet the hair more than is necessary. It won't rjo any harm; but there is no need to waste the tonic.
