CHRISTOHURCH, July 24. There is no ohango to note in tho grain market, business still being very limited. The potato market is weaker, buyers now offering only £2 15s at country stations. - A tew small orders aro coming to hand from the north, but the prices that merchants oan obtain do not warrant their offering more than the figure quoted. There . aro only moderate quantities offering by growere. ° MUTUAL HELP TERMINATING BUILDING SOCIETY. Tlie twenty-first annual, report states that curing the year 54 shares with loans have been paid off. The balanoo due on loans ' tucouLbs to £1842 19s 2d. The value of on the shares amounts to oi -i, ° d ' leav ™Pr a balance of £416 3s 8d still to oomo in. A dividend of £2 per share has been paid during tho year. This makes a distribution of £9 por share paid to members out of the'profits of the society. The credit of profit and loss account now stands at £666 0s lOd.
