The Te Anau cleared Bluff at 4 a.iru yesterday for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. The Corinna sailed from New Plymouth at midnight on Monday for Wellington and Dunedin. She is due here on Friday, and \yill sail late that night or early on Saturday morning on the return voyage. Mr Keith Ramsay has been appointed iocal agent for the coastal steamer Putiki which was purchased for £5300 by a syndicate in which several Dunedin firms are interested. The vessel is expected at Port Chalmers on Friday night, and will be docked on Monday for cleaning and repairs, after which she will come up to Dunedin to load general cargo for northern porta.
